About the Owner and Center Philosophy
From the Beginning
Hi my name is Ashley and I'm the owner of Ms. Ashley's Childcare Center. I would like to tell you a little about myself and my center. I currently live within Oakland county, Michigan. I have 2 biological children and 3 step children. We are a family of 7! I attended Ross Medical Education Center and became a medical assistant after graduating High School. Although I enjoyed working in the medical field I knew I wanted to do something different, a career change.
In 2008 I started working at my first center and enjoyed every minute. I knew I found my passion in life, children! From being a nanny, to an assistant teacher of all age groups and a lead infant teacher I knew this was my calling. I wanted more. In 2014 I attended Oakland Community College while working full time. I graduated in 2019 and received my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Following graduation Ms. Ashley's Childcare Center was founded.

Philosophy
Our philosophy at Ms. Ashley's childcare center is to provide age appropriate learning experiences for your children while in our care. We will provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating, fun learning environment for your children to grow. Lead teacher's will provide weekly age-appropriate lesson plans. They will be posted for the parents to see. We believe in encouraging children to express their feelings along with emotions while developing self-awareness, social skills, confidence and life-skills. We encourage children to work through problems and conflicts. Ms. Ashley's know children learn at their own pace but most importantly in their own way. We believe children learn by experiences from each other, which will show on a daily basis.

A healthy breakfast, 2 snacks(am/pm), lunch, diapers and wipes are covered in your weekly tuition.
Full and part time days are available. Military families receive 15% off their weekly tuition.
